Day #4 in the life of a Washington student: Morning Bins. While teachers are greeting students gathering BEE folders, helping with lunch choices, the students are enjoying a soft start to the day. This helps children transition into a structured school day by starting with calm, engaging activities like blocks, legos, play dough, and much more.

Bus Supervision! We take our bus supervision very seriously. Each day we take attendance as Washington students get on their bus. We have bus tags on every child's backpack to help us know what bus they ride! Mr. M and Mal work every morning and afternoon to keep us safe! THANK YOU!! 🛑Please be mindful of buses with their lights on and stop signs out! 🛑

Day #1 is our wonderful Door #1 greeter- Mrs. McCrory. She holds the door open for every student who is dropped off. Everyday she has a smile and kind words to greet our students! Our students are lucky to start EVERY day with a happy face! Thank you Mrs. McCrory!

Attention DPS Families! It is now time to come together to vote, vote, and vote again! Ethan Carter, Freshman at DHS, is currently 1st in his group, and he is positioned to have a real shot at being named Youth Athlete of the Year! Let's celebrate the first full week of Kindergarten!
We have been notified that the Haymarket Square bus stop for bus 15 & bus 18 will be back open tomorrow. Students who ride bus 15 & bus 18 will be picked up and dropped off at the usual spot at Haymarket Square. Thank you for your patience today as we navigate street closures while the city is improving its infrastructure.
