Day #6 in the life of a Washington Student: PE Did you know our students have 40 minutes of PE everyday? We start each PE class with stretches and warm ups. Then students have fun while learning organized games and spacial awareness!

Day #5 in the life of a Washington Student: Our Building Custodian- Roger!

This was our first week handing out our Washington Spirit Award to a staff member who exemplifies ALL the values of Dixon Public Schools: a team player, supportive, positive and solution focused! Day #4 in the life of a Washington student: Morning Bins. While teachers are greeting students gathering BEE folders, helping with lunch choices, the students are enjoying a soft start to the day. This helps children transition into a structured school day by starting with calm, engaging activities like blocks, legos, play dough, and much more.

Day #3 in the life of a Washington student: Bus Supervision! We take our bus supervision very seriously. Each day we take attendance as Washington students get on their bus. We have bus tags on every child's backpack to help us know what bus they ride! Mr. M and Mal work every morning and afternoon to keep us safe! THANK YOU!! 🛑Please be mindful of buses with their lights on and stop signs out! 🛑

I want you to see what a "day in the life" of a Washington student looks like. Day #1 is our wonderful Door #1 greeter- Mrs. McCrory. She holds the door open for every student who is dropped off.
