Throughout the month of October, DPS Elementary Schools are hosting the United Way - Kids Helping Kids Coin Drive, and we need YOU to help make a difference! The class at each elementary school that collects the most money will win a sweet treat: delicious Culver's custard!
Every coin counts, and all funds raised will support organizations in our own community, including Dixon Public Schools. Let’s come together, spread the word, and get those containers filled!

Reminder: The Community Engagement Committee of Dixon Public Schools is tasked with engaging the community for the betterment of our students and families. We have previously done outreach regarding the school start times, mental health, and attendance. As a committee, we know that parenting is hard. As we continue this community outreach, we would like to hear from our community about topics that are important to you or your child(ren). Please complete the brief, 2-question survey found through the link below to assist the committee in its focus for the 2025-2026 school year. Thank you for your time.

Our Spirit Stick winner for this week is Mr. Magnafici!
He greets our bus students every morning and sees them onto the bus every afternoon. He makes sure our students are safe, and he may even sneak them a treat or two for the ride home. After bus duty, Mr. M works the front desk to help with the lunch count for our students and they all love having the job of bring their class's bag down to him. We are so lucky to have him here at Washington!
