Please remember to wash your child’s mask! With colder weather upon us, runny noses and lots of sneezes end up inside those masks! Not only does that make them yucky looking and feeling but it also makes it super stinky for the kiddos wearing them! 😣🤢 🧼😷

Washington School is in need of your help! We are looking for donations of the following items:

These items can be new or gently used. All items will be utilized for our students in need. You can drop off donations in the school office or send them in with your child (in a separate sack) with a note that it is a donation!

To explore the life cycle of a plant more deeply, we carved fully grown pumpkins, each chose our own seeds to plant, and watched like magic as our pumpkin plants began to sprout! 1st Grade Ag in the Classroom lesson on corn. Students made their own decorative corn and learned how the corn grown in Illinois is used in many products.

Washington School Parents: We were just notified by the City of Dixon that road work is being done today on Morgan Street. Dixon Police Department will reroute traffic beginning at Jefferson and Morgan Streets to ensure buses can follow their afternoon schedules. After school today, please avoid this area if at all possible. Please park off site and walk to Washington School to pick up your student.
