Student of the Month – Congratulations to Emma Olson, Dixon High School’s Student of the Month for May!
DHS Spring Band Concert – DHS band students are continuing to prepare for an exciting concert season! Tune in for our next public performance on Friday, May 9th at Lancaster Auditorium.
Kiss a Senior Goodbye – Key Club is sponsoring “Kiss a Senior Goodbye.” If you would like to say goodbye and wish luck to your favorite Senior, purchase a ticket during either A or B Lunch for $1. Tickets will be available through May 9.
2025-2026 Registration is Open – Click here for information on how to register for the upcoming school year. The schedule will be 7:45a-2:45p beginning the 2025-2026 school year. School Improvement Half days will dismiss at 11:15a.
Cookie Clearing Star Wars Fun - We are going to have a Chromebook cleaning and cookie clearing session in the Tech Zone on Monday, May 5. Why you might ask? Over time, Chromebooks can slow down due to a buildup of cached data and cookies. Clearing them helps your device run faster and smoother. We will be passing out candy to those who come down and clean off their Chromebooks and let us help you clear your cookies. Students wearing Star Wars apparel will get a 3D printed ring! Also, don't forget to stop by the Library where Mrs. Gale will have a Star Wars display that is worth checking out! https://5il.co/3f0w1
Penguin Project of the Sauk Valley – Become a Mentor for Penguin Project of the Sauk Valley! As a mentor, you will work alongside your actor through the whole process of putting on a show from auditions, to choreography, to showtime, you help your actor display their talents for the community to see. This year’s show is “Seussical the Musical”! Rehearsals are Tuesday & Thursdays from 5:00-6:30p, starting August 5th until performance in mid-November. SWAP - SWAP applications are being accepted for summer 2025 work. SWAP stands for Student Worker Assistance Program and allows students to help pay for some of their athletic fees by working various maintenance and custodial jobs throughout the district, during the summer months. SWAP is a voluntary program, offered to any Dixon Public School student who will be in grades 9-12 during the 2025-2026 school year. Applications are now available online at Documents | Dixon High School, or in any DHS office.
